This document covers the years Ashland College was rechartered following the first bankruptacy in 1884-86.  Also included is narrative on the protest taking place on the campus amongst some of the college faculty.
	The Ashland College Charter and by-laws served as the founding document in 1878.  Outlined in these 16 handwritten pages are both the constitution and by-laws.  This document is part of the Austin Moherman collection found in the Ashland Univeristy Archives. Click here to view charter
